Get Involved – Help Out at In Your Golden Years
In Your Golden Years volunteers support the services provided by nurses, aides, and family members. Our volunteers offer comfort, compassion and caring for our patients and assist In Your Golden Years with community events. Becoming a hospice or home health volunteer is a positive way to give back to your community. As an In Your Golden Years volunteer you will learn new skills and make a difference in someone’s life.
If you wish to get involved in home health volunteering, the first step is to decide which type of volunteering you’re interested in: direct care volunteering or indirect care volunteering. While direct care volunteers work directly with clients, indirect volunteers spend time in organizational and administrative tasks.
